Momcilo Moma Antonovic, was born in Kruševac in 1938, where he finished elementary school, and after that a high school in Kraljevo. He got his undergraduate degree on the Art Academy in Belgrade, in the class of Professor Nedeljko Gvozdenović. In the class of the same professor he finished graduate studies. He is a member of ULUS since 1964.

He was a regular professor and a dean (three mandates) on the Faculty of Art for subjects drawing and painting. As a visiting professor he taught on faculties in Budapest and Edinborough. In 1989 he was appointed for the director of international research program Art and young talents“ EUROPEAN CENTER FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT UNIVERSITY FOR PEACE ESTABLISHED BY THE UNITED NATIONS.

He developed himself on study visits to France, Italy, Greece, USA, Germany, Hungary, Scotland, Holland, and Spain.

He had more then 70 independent displays and participated in more then 600 collective displays in the country and abroad. He participated in many painting colonies. He received several dozen prizes and merits. His works can be found around the world in galleries and private collections.

He works as a professor – consultant on the Academy of Fine Art in Belgrade.
He lives and works in Belgrade.
