Dragan Katanić wrote poetry and prose, directed shows TV dramas and movies and is known as a composer “proxima design” to fans of mp3 techno music that loves this group, before he become a painter.

He was involved in several performance shows, he wrote papers in the field of artificial intelligence, programmed various SQL database systems; He was declared the best painter on NET in September 2004 and is currently preparing a display on Broadway, New York, USA, that will be held September 1 to 15, 2006.

I paint because I must. I belong to the stream that divides painting in good and bad, i.e., one that posses the magic, which is, I think, the basic and only purpose of painting, and the other, whose purpose I never understood. If it wasn’t for that magic, the painting would not exists, and to feel it one does not need any prior knowledge…
