He was born in 1935 in Strigova Potkozorje. In 1945, his family colonizes in Banat, in Novi Kozarci, where he attended elementary school. In 1948, he goes to Rovinj for leg treatment, where he finishes forth class of elementary school and first class of lower high school. After returning from treatment, he finishes lower classes of high school in Banatsko Novo Selo, and higher in Kikinda, where he graduates in 1956. In the same year, he enters Faculty of Law in Belgrade. In 1957, he interrupts his studies and again goes to Roving for treatment. From Rovinj he goes to Ljubljana to try to pass the entrance examination for Ljubljana Academy and succeeds. He studies in the class of Professor Mario Pregelj, and after the first year goes to Belgrade, where he finishes studies in the class of Professor Zoran Petrović, and graduate studies in the class of Professor Mile Milutinović in 1965.

He is a member of ULUS since 1963.

He was a Director of Modern Gallery in Zrenjanin for many years and a founder of painting colony “Ečka”.

He prepared more then 110 independent displays and participated in more then 550 collective displays in the country and abroad. He is a participant of many painting colonies.

He received many prizes and merits, and his works are in galleries and private collections around the world.
